Goring girl set to hit the big screen

The 12-year-old actress is no stranger to the limelight, having starred in many TV shows, including Mr Selfridge, Doctor Who, The Interceptor, Lawless, and Harry and Paul.

Now, Abigail will be hitting the big screen, in action-packed feature film Shivay, due to be released in January.

She has spent the past six weeks filming with the celebrated Bollywood star Ajay Devgn on location in India.

Ajay revealed: “Shivay will be one of the biggest films ever made in Bollywood.”

Abigail is a student at The Theatre Workshop, which is celebrating her success alongside that of fellow student Cameron Sutherland. He will be taking to the stage in the Birmingham Repertory production of The Snowman.

Both Abigail and Cameron attend the Chichester branch of The Theatre Workshop, where they take classes in singing, acting and Dance. Classes are run at the Central CofE School, Orchard Street, on Saturday mornings 10am to 1pm.

Abigail also started at Durrington High School in September, as a pupil in year seven.

Cameron, ten, from Selsey, will be playing The Boy at The Peacock Theatre, London, this Christmas.

Since joining The Theatre Workshop, Cameron has secured roles such as the hedgehog in the Royal Ballet adaptation of Alice in Wonderland at the Royal Opera House, as well as appearing in operas such as Carmen and Madame Butterfly with The Ellen Kent Opera and Ballet Company.

He is now looking forward to ‘walking in the air’ from December 1 to January 4 in the enchanting story of a young boy’s adventures when his snowman comes to life.
