Goring schoolchildren go on a ‘refugee walk’

Children, teachers and parents from English Martyrs Catholic Primary School embarked on a trek around the school grounds to show their support for refugees.
To reinforce the journey refugees are making, children carried boats of all shapes and sizes.

Hide AdStudent Millie Peebles, ten, said: “I was watching the news and I couldn’t believe the problems in our world.
“I thought it would be a good idea to do a walk with my school to raise money for the refugees.”
More than £597 was raised by participants which will be sent to help those in need.
