Goring woman seriously injured in Littlehampton crash

A MOTORCYCLIST from Goring was seriously injured during a crash in Littlehampton yesterday morning, police have said.

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a lorry and motorbike in Littlehampton.

Emergency services were called to the A259 Littlehampton bypass near to the junction with Eldon Way at around 6.30am on Monday morning (June 30).

The white Volvo lorry and the blue Triumph Sprint motorbike were both travelling westbound and as they moved off from traffic lights, they collided.

The rider of the bike, a 47-year-old woman from Goring, was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with a serious injury to her arm. No one else was injured.
