Grant available for budding artistes

AN ORGANISATION that supports the arts wants to commission eight works of art.

The Adur & Worthing Trust said they can be in any form, for example a painting, a performance, an intervention in the landscape, a piece of new music, a film, a literary work or a new event.

Each work commissioned will receive a £500 grant to help produce the piece.

Karen Simporis, from the trust, said: “We’re looking for new work that flags up the vibrant creative community we live in and we’ve made it a simple process.”

The trust was set up to develop the cultural offer across the area.
