Guitarists bring Worthing Arts and Music Festival to a close
THE final section of Worthing Music and Arts Festival ended on Saturday with a guitar ensemble of eight players.
The Regis Guitars ensemble, brought to a close a day of guitar solos, duets and trios, featuring all ages from under eight in the first class to some much more senior players in the afternoon.
Adjudicator Helen Sanderson gave ‘constructive criticism’ and a ‘light touch’ to her adjudications so that the day was ‘productive but entertaining’, according to festival secretary Jan Spooner-Swabey.
