He and his son Sam will be one of the couples on Pointless tonight, a BBC quiz programme hosted by Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman.

Ian is from one of the oldest funeral directing families. He runs Ian Hart Funeral Service in Broadwater Street West and Sam has followed him into the family business.

They are also both known in the football world locally, with Ian Worthing Football Club’s under-18 team manager.

The father and son pair are keeping tight-lipped about how they get on in the general knowledge quiz which encourages contestants to find the most obscure answers.
