Have your say on maternity and children’sservices
LOCAL Greg Barker is urging residents to take part in the local NHS ‘Better Beginnings’ consultation on maternity, in-patient paediatric and emergency gynaecology services to ensure that their voices are heard.
The local Clinical Commissioning Groups in East Sussex are currently consulting on six options for providing these services across three hospital sites - Eastbourne DGH, Conquest in Hastings and the Crowborough Birthing Centre.
Greg said “It is really important that local people get involved in this consultation which will shape the future of health care for local women, babies and children. We need to ensure that the configuration of these services reflects the views and needs of local people and provides the safe and high quality care.”
