THE organisers of a charity football match taking place in Goring on Saturday are hoping for a big turn out to raise lots of money for their chosen cause.
The match, between East Preston Old Boys and Real Rustington, is in aid of brainstrust and will include ex-Tottenham Hotspur player, Paul Miller.
Steve Davies, 40, of Worthing Road, Rustington, decided to organise the event after one of his East Preston team mates was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Kick-off is at 1.30pm in Highdown football field, Littlehampton Road, Goring, on Saturday.
After the match, from 4.30pm at the Mulberry pub, in Goring Road, Goring, there will be a raffle with lots of signed sporting memorabilia up for grabs and a chance to win Brighton and Hove Albion tickets, courtesy of Southern Water.
