The Hurst Green Community Shop & Cafe: continues to grow in popularity and now needs a cook. Urgently!

Due to the growing demand on the cafe, a cook is urgently required over the weekends to help with the busy morning periods. The need has become SO URGENT that the shop has upgraded this role from a volunteer post to A Paid Post:. The person would be required between 10.00 am and 1.30 pm on Saturdays & Sundays i.e. 7 hours a week. The post could be shared by 2 people so that they only have to work every other weekend. Community Transport: Battle Area Community Transport runs a flexible bus services for the Hurst Green area. To Eastbourne 2nd Monday alternate months (11th Aug). To Rye 4th Thursday alternate months (28th Aug). All bookings need to be made in advance. Times and pick-up locations will be arranged according to requests made.
