Peter Juster, who grew up in Worthing, has terminal lung cancer after being diagnosed in 2010.

Despite his worsening condition – and singing through the use of an oxygen tube – he penned the song in aid of the Yorkshire Wildlife Park Project Polar appeal, raising over £6,800 to date.

He said: “As my condition has become worse, this has become a real driving force for me, and the knowledge that something I created was essentially living on and doing some good, gives me great peace of mind.”
