Improvements hope for danger junction
Mr Baker has received a number of letters from townsfolk who are concerned about the junction of the busy road with Hill Rise. During the past three years there have been five accidents where people were injured as cars made a right turn out of Hill Rise, heading towards Newhaven.
Colin Clarke, East Sussex County Council group manager for traffic and safety, said traffic consultants Owen Williams were to carry out a study of the junction to see what improvements could be made some time after April.
