FIRE crews from Worthing Fire Station attended two incidents in the area yesterday evening (August 21).

At around 6.50pm last night, firefighters and ambulances attended a collision at the junction of Mill Road and Grand Avenue, West Worthing.

No-one was trapped in their cars by the accident, and ambulances released everyone at the scene to go home by themselves.

Shortly after the collision, two different fire engines attended a small kitchen fire in Dorchester Gardens, also West Worthing, which was caused by a chip pan.

A spokesman for Worthing Fire Station said the fire was minor, and no-one was injured.
