A280 LONG FURLONG. FINDON, 2.33pm to 5.39pm on Wednesday, January 18 – Fatal road traffic collision between a car and 32-tonne goods vehicle. Male driver of car pronounced dead at the scene, lorry driver unhurt. Sussex Police is appealing for witnesses to the collision to call 101 quoting Operation Alderbrook.

BUILDING, TARRING ROAD. WORTHING 5.47am to 6.19am on Thursday, January 19 – Dangerous structure, scaffolding around building collapsed and blocking road. Road cleared by fire service using small tools. Scaffolding company contacted by police
