Information about strike action in Adur and Worthing

Refuse and garden waste collections will only affect households who have their refuse collected on a Wednesday.

Households who do have their waste collected on a Wednesday are asked to leave both their refuse and green waste bins outside as usual. Due to possible staff shortages, if waste is not collected on Wednesday, it will be collected next Wednesday (December 7). Recycling will be collected on a catch-up basis, where bins are available for collection. Recycling waste should have been collected by Friday.

All residents affected have been advised.

Clinical and commercial waste services are unaffected.

Street cleansing will be limited and deep cleaning planned for Downview Road and Boundary Road in Worthing will go ahead as planned.
