Judo scheme to help young people

DISADVANTAGED, vulnerable and disabled young people are being offered the opportunity to work towards achieving a yellow belt in Judo as part of The Fighting Chance Project.

The Yellow Belt Challenge encourages individuals between 11 and 25 years of age to take part and work towards their yellow belt, gain confidence, fitness and be part of a community club.

It has been part funded by Sussex Sport and offers a free first session, a judo suit, 12 months free membership to British Judo and four free gradings worth £150.

Young People will need to be referred by staff or can sign up personally via the website to receive a pack and information on the club.
