Kitchen fire in Durrington
Two crews from Worthing Fire Station were called to a fire in Larch Lodge, Romany Road, Durrington at around 1.30pm today after a man had left his home while cooking his dinner.
The pan boiled dry and caught fire.
Neighbours raised the alarm and as the crews arrived the man was returning home.
There was minimal damage to the kitchen and noone was injured.
