A BONNY baby show is among the activities planned for Lancing Family Fun Day on Saturday.

The event is being organised on Lancing Beach Green, from 10.30am to 4pm, by Lancing Parish Council in association with Lancing and Sompting Lions Club.

The baby show will be judged at 1.30pm, followed by a children’s fancy dress competition at 3pm.

There is also a teddy bears’ picnic from 2pm to 4pm, fun dog show at 2.30pm and Punch and Judy from 2pm to 4pm.

Special guests throughout the day will include Worthing town crier Bob Smytherman, East Worthing and Shoreham MP Tim Loughton and Shoreham Herald columnist Mike Mendoza.

Music includes the youth marching band from the Nautical Training Corps, the Band of TS Intrepid, plus the Shoreham Allstars and James Watt Disco. Entertainment also includes Coles Fun Fair, side shows and stalls.

Ann Bridges, Adur district councillor for Widewater Ward and vice-chairman of Adur District Council, said the fun day would have lots on offer for people of all ages.
