Hannah Lawrence, 19, was arrested after officers saw a vehicle being driven erratically at 2am on Tuesday in Crowhurst Road, Brighton.
Lawrence, of Manor Road, Lancing, was charged with drink-driving and was released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 19 December.
The total number of people charged with drink-related offences since the start of Sussex Police’s drink-driving campaign on December 1 is now 11.
Chief Inspector Natalie Moloney said: “Anyone who knows that a driver has been drinking can call us and know that we will investigate.
“We will continue to arrest and charge people who get behind the wheel after they have been drinking to try to make Sussex’s roads safer.”
