A LANCING teenager joined young people from across the country to call for an arms trade treaty (ATT).
Nichola Livermore, 18, from Mash Barn Lane, joined 150 other young volunteers from Amnesty International and Oxfam – some as young as 12 – to urge Foreign Office Minister Alistair Burt to push for a treaty which would regulate the global trade of weapons across borders. Currently there are no global regulations controlling the arms trade.
She handed a photo petition to Mr Burt at the Westminster lobby last Wednesday.
