A lane has been blocked on the A27 due to a crash involving a lorry and a car this morning (Friday February 12).

Police were called to the crash just after the Southwick Tunnel, in Shoreham, at around 7am.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said the incident occurred on the westbound carriageway and no injuries have been reported at this stage.

Officers are still at the scene.

Long delays are being reported westbound on the A27 Shoreham By-pass due to the collision.

Congestion is also being reported eastbound on the A27 at the Lancing roundabout due to queuing traffic along the A27 Upper Brighton Road.

Slow traffic along Crockhurst Hill in Worthing is causing delays in both directions at Offington Corner.
