Lensmen set to snap into focus for waste

The contest has a first prize of 250 worth of photographic equipment. It is being organised by recycling and waste services company Verdant and Arun District Council.

Over 16s are invited to submit snaps of anything to do with recycling '“ wheelie bins being put out, refuse lorries in action or neighbourhood recycling centres.

Younger photographers will have a special category to enable them to snap up 100 voucher, with a further 100 for their school.The contest is being held to mark recycle now week and the willingness of residents to cut down their waste.
