Little Angels Spring Fair

THE LITTLE Angels Playgroup held it's Spring Fair at All Saints Church, Sidley on Saturday and, whilst it may not have been blessed with weather anything like a spring day, the gusty wind and rain did not deter the many adults and children from turning out to show their support.

There was a wide variety of things to buy on the many stalls including books, handbags, baby clothes, toys, candles, jewellery, cards, and homemade cakes.

There was a raffle and tombola; teas and coffees were also served.

Little Angels Supervisor Michele Thomas said she was pleased that the weather did not stop people from attending the event, adding: "It's all gone really well today, the committee have put in a lot of hard work and we've raised almost 300."

The money raised will go into the playgroup's fund which is used for arranging special craft activities for the children.
