Major police incident closes road

A major police incident has closed part of a road in Worthing.

A large number of police are currently on the scene of a major incident in Worthing.

The eastern end of Pavilion Road, between Woodside Road and South Farm Road, has been closed.

There are a number of police vehicles blocking the road.

Access for pedestrians has also been sealed off, using police tape.

Door-to-door enquiries have been made and nearby residents say police have been on the scene for more than an hour.
