Man accused of breaking into 27 homes in West Sussex
Albert James, of Mill Pond, Chichester, is accused of being responsible for twilight burglaries in Worthing, Angmering, Bognor Regis, Ferring, Midhurst, Littlehampton, Chichester and Storrington between October 26 and December 12.
James was arrested after a joint investigation by detectives from Sussex and Hampshire. He is accused of a total of 27 burglaries in Sussex and 24 in Hampshire.

Hide AdHe is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on March 12 charged with 51 counts of burglary.
Mark Coop, 26, Robert Mayers, 19, Daniel Oliver, 25, and a 17-year-old boy have been charged with conspiracy to burgle 14 homes across West Sussex between June 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014.
Coop, of Church Road, Sheerness, Kent; Mayers, of Whitebeam Road, Durrington; Oliver, of Brighton Road, Lewes; and the boy have been ordered to appear at Lewes Crown Court on February 13.
A 59-year-old man has been charged on suspicion of a burglary in Connaught Road, Littlehampton, on January 14. He has been released on bail until February 10.
