Man attacked by youth outside newsagent

A teenager assaulted a man in the Rose Green shopping area in broad daylight.

The attack took place outside Martins Newsagents on Rose Green Road around midday on November 7.

It occurred when a young man was asked to move a bicycle which had been left blocking the newsagent's doorway.

The victim, a male in his late 50s who suffers from significant medical issues, was confronted by the youth and pushed violently in the chest.

The youth rode away on the silver mountain bike. It is described as being white and in his late teens.
