Man injured after car hits tree in Wiston

Emergency services were called to Steyning Road shortly after 4pm.

The man, a passenger in the car, suffered head, thorax and abdomen injuries, according to a spokesperson for the air ambulance.

He was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital by road.
