A man was injured after jumping from a burning building in Bognor Regis in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday November 11).
Emergency services were called to a fire at a flat above a shop in Aldwick Road at around 2am.
A spokesman for the fire service said two men were injured in the blaze and were treated by paramedics at the scene for smoke inhalation and other injuries.
The spokesman added one of the men jumped from the building to escape the flames and was treated for injuries relating to the fall.
Two breathing apparatus and a hose reel were used to extinguish the flames and a positive pressure ventilation fan was also used to remove smoke from the building.
Crews are still at the scene and the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
