Man saved from fire
A MAN in his forties was rescued from his home following a fire in Little Common on Sunday evening.
Emergency services were called to St Mark's Close at around 6.20pm.
Two appliances from Bexhill Fire Station were called to the scene and crews entered with breathing apparatus to discover the man in his bedroom.
He was taken to the Conquest Hospital with smoke inhalation and his condition is described as stable.
