Police are searching for a man who tried to snatch a bag from woman in Goring.
At about 8.30pm on Thursday, April 7, the 20-year old local woman was walking home along The Strand in Goring when a man tried to pull her shoulder bag away from her.
Police said she resisted and screamed, and the man ran off without taking anything.
The victim was described as shaken, but not physically injured.
The suspect is described as black, in his early twenties, and about 5ft 9in tall, of normal build, wearing a black hoody and black trousers, with white trainers.
PC Colin Taylor said; “If you saw anything suspicious in the area that night or if you have any other information, please contact us via email@example.com call us on 101, quoting serial 1371 of 07/04.
“You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 (www.crimestoppers-org.uk).”
