Marley party to help raise fundsfor youth centre

People are being invited to celebrate Bob Marley's birthday this weekend while raising money to help young people in Hastings and Rother.

The music event, in aid of the Xtrax young people’s centre, takes place at the Owl and Pussycat, in Robertson Street, Hastings, on Saturday February 6 from 8pm until late.

There will be live music and the event features Zero Gravity, Junior P and Platinum Bashment playing reggae, Dancehall and Soul.

There will be Jamaican cuisine on offer as well as rum punch and fancy dress is optional.

Xtrax is an independent, registered charity working for young people aged 16-24 in Hastings and Rother.
