In store for them on arrival at the garden centre, in Old Shoreham Road, on Friday were a range of equipment to explore and emergency services teams to meet.

Among those represented were Shoreham Fire Station, Shoreham RNLI, Shoreham Coastguard, the British Red Cross, two police departments, Guide Dogs and a Teddy Bear Hospital, with interactive education fun at each stall.
