Meat stolen and £1,000 damage caused in Worthing break-in

THIEVES stole meat during a break-in at a Broadwater sandwich bar.

Burglars struck at The Piggery, in Broadwater Street West, some time between 4.30pm on Thursday, April 2, and 7.20am on Friday, April 3, after breaking into a rear courtyard and forcing open the back door.

The thieves caused an estimated 1,000 of damage during the raid, in which they stole a variety of meats.
