Men at Risk gig to raise money for charities

A BAND raised £1,800, to be split between three charities, when it performed at a school on Saturday.

Men at Risk, a three-piece made up of Jamie Parkinson, Ian Chilvers and Luke Osborne, played for an audience of friends and family at The Orchards Community Middle School.

Jamie said: “It was brilliant, there were 120 people and it got very lively.”

The band donated the money raised to Cancer Research, Speakability and towards helping fund Ian’s daughter’s charity trip to Ghana.

Comedian Tim Fusciardi also performed at the event and there was a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.
