More delays to Worthing Splash Point
THE grand opening of Splash Point looks set to be delayed once again because of the recent bad weather.
Originally scheduled for a Hallowe’en unveiling, the Splash Point development on Worthing seafront was pushed back to Christmas because of the late delivery of building materials.
Worthing Borough Council spokeswoman Cathy Ridge said work had not been carried out on the development because of the cold weather, and because temperatures needed to exceed two degrees celsius to lay concrete. She added the council now hopes the development will be finished in the new year.
