Motorists taken to hospital after collision with cattle

TWO people were taken to hospital following a two car collision with cattle last night.

The cattle had strayed onto the A280 at Angmering when they were hit by the vehicles around 10.40pm.

The driver of one of the cars was cut free by Worthing Fire Station’s heavy rescue equipment after they had become trapped.

Both drivers were taken to hospital in an ambulance.

Two cows died at the scene.
