“YOU can’t describe the horror that I’ve felt losing my precious daughter” – these were the words of Lyndsey Shipstone, the mother of tragic seven-year-old Mary Shipstone, following the death of her daughter.

Mary was shot in the head by her father, Yasser Alromisse, of Broomfield Avenue, Worthing, outside her home in Northiam, East Sussex, on September 11 – she died in hospital the following day.

After firing two shots, Alromisse returned to his car and turned the gun on himself.

Ms Shipstone said: “She’s had her life snatched away from her so cruelly when there was so much promise. I would like people to remember her little smiling face. She was such a happy child.”
