Andrew said he was very excited to be opening a store in the town and the Bishopric was the perfect location for the new gallery.

He said: “I have always loved Sussex and I have lived in Sussex for a long long time.

“We have galleries in Brighton, Worthing and Chester already in the group. We were looking at Horsham at the same time we were looking at Brighton but a place came up in Brighton. However we have been looking at Horsham for a long time.

“We could have moved into the old Phones 4 U site but we were really interested in coming to the Bishopric especially with the plans for the area.

“Businesses is going well and I am really excited to be opening here.”

Andrew is originally from Chester but moved to Sussex to set up the galleries.

He said he was not the greatest artist but always had an interest in the subject.

He continued:“I have always collected art and along the way through art fairs I have met artists that wanted to be represented. A lot of artists we have are unique to Cloud Gallery.

“We have a new neon artist who has worked with the likes of Kate Moss, Jamie Oliver and Banksy.

“I have three pieces of theirs coming here.”

Prices at the gallery range between £100 to £20,000 although Andrew warned there were a few pieces that cost around £35,000 for anyone who fancies a larger investment.

But the gallery will not just be a place to buy artwork. There will also be a wine and coffee area for people to enjoy whilst they browse.

He said: “The main feature we will be offering for people when they come in is they can get a glass of wine or a coffee and have a really good look at the artwork or people can sit down with a glass of wine and enjoy themselves.

“There are also going to be exhibitions, talks and demonstrations from artists.

“We do a lot of things where we work with local businesses in the area such as wine tasting evenings and artist events. They are absolutely great, we work hard to get 100-150 people in.”

Andrew is hoping to open the upstairs of the gallery within the next couple of months as well which will house more artwork and displays.

The gallery is open everyday from 10am until 5.30pm and 11am until 4pm on Sundays.

Andrew added: “We work seven days a week and every evening. We also offer delivery every single evening for people who can’t take the artwork home.”
