New plan for homes by hotel

A new planning application has been submitted to Arun District Council for homes at the rear of one of the town's landmark buildings.

Proposals for a mews development comprising 13 one and two bedroom homes involving the conversion of the former accommodation block and replacement of derelict stores to the north and rear of the Royal Norfolk Hotel has been re-submitted after a previous application was withdrawn at the end of August.

The new application for the site behind the Grade II listed seafront hotel includes improvements to existing vehicle access onto West Street.
