VOLUNTEERS brought a bit of nature to a retirement complex by planting this tree.

The Storrington Rotary Club planted this acer tree in White Horse Court – warden-assisted retirement flats in the centre of Storrington village.

Rotary members and residents of White Horse Court attended the tree-planting ceremony, which was performed by Storrington Rotary Club president Jan Taylor.

Jan said: “While people in Storrington are very aware of their local Rotary club and the work we do in the community, by planting this tree we aim to strengthen the special relationship we have with the village and its residents.”

Storrington Rotary Club is one of 60 clubs in the rotary’s district 1250, which covers West Sussex and parts of East Sussex and Surrey.
