NHS issues form basis of meeting

‘What’s happening to our NHS?’ is taking place at the Shoreham Centre, in Pond Road, Shoreham, from 7.30pm until 9pm, on Friday, March 13.

Organiser Dr Carl Walker said: “There have been a great number of changes to the NHS in recent years that have caused concern to residents across Adur and Worthing.

“The reason for this evening is that in recent months we have had threats to A&E at Worthing Hospital, GPs struggling to cope with demand and waiting lists getting longer, privatization and outsourcing of some services, Southlands land sale, a mental health crises and other local issues.”

The event is not party political and will include talks from GPs and other local health professionals.
