A PUBLIC meeting has been arranged to question what is happening to the NHS.
Organiser Dr Carl Walker said there will be talks from GPs and other health professionals about some of the recemt changes.
People will also find out help to be more involved in having a say in the future.
“There have been great number of changes to the NHS in recent years that have caused concern to residents across Adur and Worthing,” he explained.
“The reason for this evening is that in recent months, we have had threats to A&E at Worthing Hospital due to the aborted MSK contract, GPs struggling to cope with demand and waiting lists getting longer, privatisation and outsourcing of some services, the Southlands land sale, a mental health crisis and other local issues.”
The public meeting, entitled What’s Happening to Our NHS?, will be held at the Shoreham Centre on Friday, from 7.30pm to 9pm.
