1st Ninfeld Scout Group held their Annual January Jumble Sale last Saturday. We would like to thank all those who kindly donated jumble and to those who attended. It was lovely to see so many people from the community coming along to support us. A big thank you goes to the army of volunteers on the Friday night and Saturday, many of whom have no longer got direct connections with the group. Without people like you, events like this would not happen. There will be another Jumble Sale on June 29, so please make a note in your diaries! Funds raised from the Jumble Sales help towards new equipment so that we can continue to give Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers challenges to enrich their lives.

Our PCSO, Daryl Holter, has advised of some recent incidents in our area. A quad bike was stolen from the area of Hooe over the time period of 17/01/13 to 22/01/13 (reference 0971 22/01/13). A large quantity of Diesel has also been stolen from a vehicle in the Hooe area (reference 0860 22/01/13). Finally, a number of 4x4 vehicles were driven on the recreation ground Ninfield on the evening of 21/01/13 and are believed to have caused damage to the grassed area (reference 1337 21/01/13). If you have any information about any of these that you think could assist the police in their enquiries, please contact the local Policing team by dialing 101.
