Ninfield arts and crafts fair

For the first time ever residents of Ninfield will be showing off their arts and craft skill at the Memorial Hall.

The fair will be held tomorrow (Saturday October 10) and will include a huge range of work to admire and desire.

On behalf of the Memorial Hall committee, organisers Kaye Crittell and Samantha Guard have gathered twenty exhibitors from the village, including artists in watercolour,oil.pastel and pen and ink, wood sculptors, lace-maker, tapestry, glass and photography.

The organisers say they are thrilled "by the fantastic enthusiasm and standard of the participants".

Sam said: "The idea is to promote and celebrate these hidden lights and at the same time raise money for the ongoing and necessary refurbishment of the Memorial Hall.

"There will be refreshments available all day and a chance for anyone to have their photo taken in a studio setting. Also demonstrations will be on show in Lace making and other crafts.

"Entrance to view is only 1, the exhibition is for one day only and starts at 10am, finishing at 4pm.
