Bonfire Society: Plans are underway for this year’s Bonfire Procession and Fireworks on Saturday 24th October, and anyone wishing to take part will need to be a member of the Society by the end of August. The next meeting of the Society is in the Rose & Crown on Monday at 7.30pm, and prospective members are very welcome to come along and see what happens. As well as helping to put on our own event, Northiam Bonfire Society supports other local Societies’ events throughout October and November in our distinctive Highwaymen’s costumes. The general aim is to have fun! Judith (252114) or Trevor (253749) can tell you more.

Another Day on the Downs to find the Long Man (didn’t know he was lost!!) will break for a pub lunch.

Coffee Stop: Pop into the Church Centre on Wednesday mornings to catch up with the news. Coffee Stop is open from 10-12.
