Nurse's car clamping misery

A NURSE had to pay £120 to get her car back when it was clamped while she visited an elderly patient in Littlehampton.

Shelly Foreman (44) said she was angry and upset that her Peugeot 307 was clamped while parked at the Kingmere flats in South Terrace on Thursday afternoon.

The nurse clinician said she had left a sign in her car above glove compartment saying 'nurse on call', was carrying her blood pressure machine, her stethoscope and wearing her badge-yet an officer from Guardian Parking Management refused to remove the clamp.

The company has hit back saying there was no notice displayed in the windows.
