AN AUTHOR transformed his house into a castle at the weekend for the latest of his elaborate parties.
Ken Humphreys, of Anscombe Close, Goring, along with eight of his friends, have spent the last five months transforming his home into a Camelot themed film set.
He said: “It’s not for charity and it’s not for my birthday. I’m not celebrating anything other than being alive and making the best of life.”
Everyone in attendance had to wear appropriate fancy dress.
Ken continued: “Everyone has been very enthusiastic but it has been quite exhausting.
“I have lost a stone in weight since I have done this, I call it the Camelot diet. It keeps you young.”
