Old Lifeboat House to be demolished for homes?

Plans to demolish the Old Lifeboat House will be heard at a council committee meeting next week.

A planning application to build 8 new homes on the site of the Old Lifeboat House in Shopsdam Road in Lancing will be heard on Wednesday.

Members of the Lancing Parish Council Planning Advisory Committee will discuss the application at a public meeting at Lancing Parish Hall.

Under the plans, the Old Oifeboat House would be demolished to make way for a terrace of three, five bedroom homes, four, four bedroom homes, as well as associated car parking.

The application will be voted on by members but the result will not be binding. The final decision will be made by Adur Planning Committee.

The meeting is open to the public.
