THE hunt is on for the oldest copy of the Bible as one Worthing church celebrates the 400th year anniversary of the King James version.

The Christadelphian Church in Clifton Road, is holding an exhibition of Bibles throughout the centuries and is on the look-out for the oldest Bible in the area.

The exhibition includes more than 60 versions of the Bible and will be held in the church hall in Clifton Road each Saturday this month from 11am until 1pm.

So far the church has a Bible dating from 1836 but it believes there must be an older copy in the town and has a £100 prize for the owner of the oldest copy.
