Oliver finds perfect foil for his talent

A West Sussex teenager has had a major victgoryh in fencing, where he faced much older competitors to win the under-18 cup in the Sussex County Men's Foil competition.

Oliver Plumb (14) who is a Year 9 pupil at Worth School was taking part in only his second adult competition in which he came tenth overall.

Oliver was also second in the Under-20 competition.

The under 18 cup is awarded to the highest finishing under 18 male competitor.

In the under-20 section where he was second, the winner was five years older than Oliver.
