Bid to set up a fortnightly '˜play'

I am looking to set up a fortnightly '˜play' with people who are ready and want to play with other musicians but don't necessarily feel comfortable going to jam at a pub yet (it can't be just me, can it?!).

What I envisage is a variety of players/singers turning up (not necessarily the same ones each time), having some improvisation time and some set songs we have already learned (to varying degrees) to play around with… and just have fun, getting used to playing with others.

The cost of the rehearsal space would be dealt with by paying subs - probably amounting to about £3 each depending on how many come initially of course.
